"World Typeset"

  1. What is "World Typeset"?
    -"World Typeset" is an add-on software to assist you type over 40 languages in any 32-bit Windows applications.

  2. What can't "World Typeset" do?
    -"World Typeset" is not a translator. It does not help you translate from one language to another, nor does it help you understand a foreign language.

  3. How do I use "World Typeset"?
    -You must first install "World Typeset" onto your computer. When you need to type in your language, you need to turn on World Typeset by click on the 'World Typeset Button' (the right button on the World Typeset Buttons Panel), when World Typeset is on, the button appears downward.

  4. How can I type in plain English?
    -You can just type English as usual. If some keys combination may interfere, you can press 'Ctrl' key to temporarily disable "World Typeset" (to reactivate VNI World Typeset press 'Ctrl' or 'Space' key) or click on the 'World Typeset Active' button to permantly disable VNI World Typeset (to reactivate VNI World Typeset, click on the 'World Typeset Active' button).

  5. How to install "World Typeset"?
    -Consult your User Manual.

  6. Why can't I type a certain characters in my language?
    -Make you you selected an appropriated language.
    Click the 'Options' (the left button on the Button Panel) button on the Buttons Panel.
    Select the language you want to use.
    Click 'OK' and you're ready to type in your language.

  7. How can I change my macros?
    -Click the 'Option button' on the Button Panel.
    Select the 'Edit Macros' tab.
    Change the keys combination on the left of the '=' sign.
    Click 'OK' and your new macros are in effect.

  8. How do I temporary disable my macros?
    -Press the key 'Ctrl' and release it, you'll see the 'World Typeset Active' button change it color from blue to white. To turn macros on again, press 'Space' key or 'Ctrl' key again.

  9. I selected my language, why can't I type my language?
    -Make sure you selected one of the VNI fonts for your language. All VNI fonts begin with 'VNI'.

  10. Can I install "World Typeset" on my server?
    -No, because "World Typeset" wasn't designed as a networking software. You must install "World Typeset" on your client workstations.

  11. How many workstations can I install "World Typeset"?
    -For each copy of "World Typeset" you obtained legally, you can install unlimitted number of times on 5 workstations.
