Address Book:

This is an important feature of BMS-2000. It helps the user to input and make any necessary modifying to customers’ information and other concerning data like address, name, email and other details relating to customers’ invoices. Moreover, in this function, user can easily view invoices of the relating clients and access to any specific invoices to revise and change desired information.

 

 

In the window Address Book showed above, for example, users can easily create new customer record and save it into the main database including with invoices and details describing that customer. This option can help the user to keep track invoices and by clicking on the specific invoice to link to the Invoice function to present and illustrate the details of it. This function is really a essential tool to help the manager to seek for old invoices to refer to the prices of the previous works and offer a reasonable price for the future works.

 

 

List of Customers:

This option allows the user to view database of all customers in the table form. From this table, user can view, edit, sort or seek for any specific customers based on the already-known details easily.

 

 

In addition to all above characteristics, the List function allows user to arrange fields of details in any desired orders that they want to review and search for any specific data easily and quickly. For example, if an old customer who had an order last year wants to order the same products and he only gives the manager the customer’s name and telephone number to search for his record. With this List option, the manager can arrange the name and telephone number fields in the front by several clicks of mouse so that he can look for that specific customer in a few seconds and make a new invoice for him very quickly.

 

 

Sort:

The sort function is a powerful tool that can save a lot of time to users in marketing, advertising and informing new products of the business. Yes, it can sort to classify and organize customers in any orders that the user wants it.

 

The user can input an order for the software to rearrange the index of database for the mailing list. For example, when there is a new product coming in like modern DVD-player and the user wants to inform the new characteristic of the product to several customers who are interested in electronic devices, he can sort and arrange the old customers who concern with those devices and can reduce the amount of customers who have their interests on any other items. This task can save a lot of money in marketing strategy. Without this function, what should a manager do is go all over several hundred thousands to look for the favorite customers and this is really a painful and unavoidable task.

 

 

Moreover, this program also offers a special feature that is multi-language support. Comparing with other software on the market, there is none of them having this specific function. As everybody know, we are living in the United States a hot spot where there are a great amount of people from every parts of the world. Some of them change their American names to be easily called but majority of them want to keep their original names as a reminding to their motherland. Besides, this option also has advance option to search for a range of customers, for example, in any specific city, country or in any group relating to one or more attributes.

 

 

In the car-dealer warehouse, for example, they have a new series of Toyota coming and they want to introduce them to their customers who are interested in the Toyota name. Instead of spending their time to look for their customers manually, they can use this function to separate and list a group of old customers who already bought Toyota automobiles at that warehouse before in to list. Moreover, from the search list, they can export into database files to merge to text document as an introducing letter by any word processor very quickly and easily. The manager can save a lot of time in this marketing work and use that time to sale their products more efficiently.

 

 

Print preview:

This function help the user to preview the output as it will be printed out. From the Print-list preview form, user can decide to continue to print it or jump back to List feature to modify any misspelling error from the data. Besides, based on the customers’ list, user can also create customers’ label with many facts like name, address, city and zip code to stick on the envelopes sent to those customers without rewriting anything else. Moreover, user can change format to vary the number of labels on the output paper, for example: 2 x 10 – 2 labels on the same row for 10 rows, 3 x 10, etc).

 

 

Print Preview Customer List displays customers’ name, address and telephone number.

 

 

 

Print Preview Label displays customers’ name, address, city and zip code in the 2x10 format.
